Utsav Spin and Win 2024 Contest: Terms and Conditions

The "Utsav Spin and Win 2024" ("Contest") is a promotional time bound online contest organized by M/s Sorting Hat Technologies Private Limited ("Unacademy"). The Contest shall be governed by the following terms and conditions as well as the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy available on the Unacademy Platform (collectively referred to as "Terms") which shall be binding on the Participants attending the contest.

The Contest shall be open for Participants to register and participate from 24th October 2024 until 31st October 2024, or as may be communicated by Unacademy ("Contest Window") on the Contest landing page.

Eligibility for the Contest

Any individual/student who fulfils the eligibility criteria for the Contest may participate in the Contest, subject to these Terms ("Participant").

In order to participate in the Contest, a Participant shall be:

• an individual who has registered on the Unacademy Platform as a learner
• an Indian citizen located in India
• not a resident of the State of Tamil Nadu
• legally eligible to enter into a contract or fulfils the Age Requirements provided below

Participants are not bound in any way to participate in the Contest. Any participation is voluntary, and the Contest is being made available purely on a best effort basis. Unacademy in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify the Participant from the benefits and Rewards of the Contest, if any fraudulent activity is detected or on any breach of the Terms and Conditions by the Participant. Unacademy reserves the right to select or reject any Participant for any reason whatsoever at its sole discretion and its decision shall be final.

Age Requirements

The Participant understands and confirm that where they are less than eighteen years of age ("Minor"), the registration for the Contest is done with the consent of and under the supervision of their parents or guardian. Participants acknowledge that Unacademy does not have the responsibility to ensure that the Participant is registering and participating in the Contest with the consent and supervision of their parent or guardian. It shall be the parent/guardian's and the Participant's joint responsibility to ensure that the required qualifications are met.

Unacademy reserves the right to revoke the Participants' participation in the Contest if it learns that the Participants do not meet the above stipulations with respect to Minors.

Rewards

The rules for the Contest and rewards system shall be as specified in the Additional Conditions. Subject to the Additional Conditions, a Participant in the Contest may be eligible to win a reward ("Rewards"). Unacademy reserves the right at its sole discretion to modify, withdraw, suspend, extend, add reschedule or cancel the Contest or the Rewards under the Contest at any time without any prior written notice.

The Participant understands that participating in the Contest does not automatically qualify him/her for Rewards under the Contest and Participant eligible for Rewards are selected as per the terms set out in the Additional Conditions, as determined by Unacademy in its sole discretion. The Participants eligible for Rewards may be required to submit additional information / documentation within the timeline specified by Unacademy so as to faciliatate the Rewards and Unacademy may contact the Participant for the same. Unacademy does not accept any responsibility for any incorrect and/or incomplete communication details provided and/or delay in receipt of communication and/or non-receipt of communication.

Personal Information

A Participant's Personal Information, including Sensitive Personal Information, that may be collected to enable the Contest and provide ancillary services related to the Contest shall be collected, processed, and stored in accordance with the Unacademy Privacy Policy. A Participant shall have all the rights available to them under the applicable Data Protection Laws in accordance with the Unacademy Privacy Policy.

Consent and Waiver by Participants

The Participant hereby consents to the use by Unacademy of his/her name, age, photograph, videos, voice recordings, statements and/or testimonials ("Personal Attributes") for the purpose of publication, advertising, promotion on Unacademy's online platforms, including but not limited to the Platform, and through any mode, medium, platform and/or format.

General Terms and Conditions

Information that is communicated to the Participants by the Unacademy representatives shall be the only authentic and valid information with respect to the Contest. Unacademy shall not be responsible for any incorrect/misleading information relating to the Contest and shall not be liable for any loss suffered by any Participants based on such incorrect information.

Additional Conditions

1. There shall be no fee to participate in the Contest.
2. Rules of the Contest: Each Participant shall have one chance to participate in the Contest, where they will spin the wheel once, during the Contest Window.
3. The Company may, in accordance with the laws prevailing in certain Indian states, bar individuals residing in such states from participating in the Contest. Currently, Participants residing in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu are prohibited from participating in the Contest as per applicable state laws.
4. A Participant has to mandatorily declare that he / she is not residing in the states of Tamil Nadu in order to participate in the Contest.
5. The wheel shall be comprised of segments which will have different Rewards on offer on each segment. Depending on the segment on which the wheel stops after the Participant has played, the Participant shall be eligible to the Reward corresponding to such segment.
6. Unacademy shall communicate with the Participant within three working days to facilitate the Reward.
7. Rewards: Subject to the terms and conditions specified herein, Rewards shall comprise of discount coupons on any Unacademy online subscriptions ("Discount Coupons") or any other prize as may be specified by Unacademy, at its discretion ("Prize(s)"), collectively ("Rewards").
8. Discount Coupons-The Participants who have won the Discount Coupon as part of the Contest shall be required to utilize the Discount Coupon during its validity period which is until 31st October 2024 or any other date, if communicated by Unacademy.
9. Prizes- After verification of details, Prizes shall be dispatched to Participants who have won a Prize, at the addresses provided by them, within 45 working days from the date the Participant submitted sufficient details as determined by Unacademy.
10. A Participant shall not be eligible to win more than one Reward.
